I recently had two poems published at Bonnie’s Crew, a charity publication that collects donations for the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund. This fund partners with Leeds Congenital Hearts to save lives throughout the Yorkshire, Humberside and North Trent regions of England. So, if you find yourself as charmed with this journal as I do, consider donating through their justgiving page where they are selling a limited edition print anthology. They’ve almost made their first goal, which means they’re probably close to out of stock.

These two poems, “Kate’s Poem” and “For Kate, Always” were written about a year apart, 2012 and 2013 respectively, as Kate Hammerich and I launched and worked through our first year of cahoodaloodaling. Kate also recently had work appear in Bonnie’s Crew, which you can read here.
